***URGENT FOSTER NEEDED*** Little mama Clover and her puppies need a foster home URGENTLY! Her babies are only one week old! They are not yet old enough for vaccinations so they are at risk in the shelter environment. They REALLY need a home for the next six- seven weeks. Clover is SUPER FRIENDLY and loves people. She allows us to handle her puppies. They need a safe, loving home- can that be you? Humane Society of Sedona provides all the supplies needed for our fosters. What are the requirements? You would need to have a separate room for her and the puppies if you already own pets. The puppies would need to stay indoors until they get all their vaccines and Clover would need to be kept away from other animals to minimize the risk to the babies. We would ask that you weight the puppies each day until they get old enough that the weights would be weekly. We have a support team you could call on 24/7 if you needed anything. Interested? Email: info@humanesocietyofsedona.org or Call (928) 282-4679 . If you are not able to foster Clover and her babies, please help by spreading the word to others. The sooner we get them into a foster home the better their chances are! ... See MoreSee Less
Meet Eddy - The Gentle Giant Looking for His Forever Home
Hi there, my name is Eddy and I'm a 3-year-old Great Dane/Husky mix. I may look like a pony, weighing in at 78 pounds, but I assure you, I'm just a big softie at heart. Sadly, my previous owners could no longer care for me, so I ended up at the shelter. But, I'm hoping my forever family is out there, reading this bio right now.
I have some special traits that make me stand out from the rest. My gentle and laid back nature has earned me the title of "gentle giant." I love going for walks and I'm well-behaved on a leash. Plus, I'm fully potty trained, so you won't have to worry about any accidents in the house.
I may be a bit shy at first, but once I warm up to you, I'll be your constant companion. I have a discerning taste in friends, but once I trust you, I'll be your best friend for life. I'm affectionate, easygoing, and charming. My intelligence makes me a quick learner and I'll always be eager to please you.
I also get along great with others. My previous home reported that I was used to living with kids, cats, birds, livestock, and other dogs. I love everyone and everything! I have quite a few doggy friends here at the shelter, but I'd still love to meet any potential doggy siblings before going home with them! So, if you have room in your heart and home for a loving and loyal companion like me, please come and meet me. I promise I'll steal your heart and make the best addition to your family. Let's start our forever journey together!
I am fixed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, neutered and ready to go home with you, so please come visit me!
Please call between 10am-4pm to schedule an appointment to meet one of our animals! 928-282-4679 ... See MoreSee Less
