The Humane Society of Sedona Public Spay/Neuter Clinic is now offering low-cost spay/neuter surgeries for pets of low-income families in the Verde Valley. The HSS clinic is open Monday and Friday by appointment only. Dog spay or neuter surgeries are only $95. Female cat spays are only $65, and male cat neuters are $40. Feral and community cat spays and neuters are $25 (with ear tip). For more information, to qualify, or to book an appointment, call 928-282-4679.
Spaying and neutering your pet has many possible benefits, including eliminating risky pregnancies, curbing unwanted behaviors, reducing the incidence of some diseases, reducing the number of homeless and unwanted pets in our community, and saving pet owners money in the long-run.
Low cost pet vaccines are also available to the public on Mondays from 2:30-3:30 pm. Prices are $15 for rabies vaccinations, $15 for core dog or cat vaccinations (DHLPP/FVRCP), or $15 for Bordetella, and $20 for microchips. Check in will be at front desk. No appointment is necessary. Services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Dogs should be on leashes and cats in carriers. For questions, call 928-282-4679.
